Welcome to Guwahati! Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, you’ll be transferred to your camp/lodge in Kaziranga. En route, enjoy stunning views of Assam’s lush tea plantations stretching across the landscape. Upon arrival, check in and relax for a while. Later, you can explore nearby tribal villages, where you can interact with the locals and experience their unique culture. Afterward, return to your camp/lodge for an overnight stay amidst nature.
Kaziranga Jungle Safari & Transfer to Shillong
JUNGLE ACTIVITIES AT KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK - After an early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Western Range for an Elephant Ride (direct payment). After the ride return back to the Hotel. After breakfast drive to the Central Range (Kohora) of the park for a Jeep safari. (Including 1.) Later transfer to Shillong. Overnight stay in Hotel in Shillong.
Cherrapunjee Falls & Scenic Sites
After breakfast check out hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee (60 km/2 ½ hrs). Check in hotel and promptly visit Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thangkharang Park, Koh Ramhah. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Note: Please note that all sightseeing is possible if time permits and all waterfalls are active during monsoon season.
Double Decker Root Bridge Trek
We proceed for a full day trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village. We have to trek down 3200 steps approximately each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. We can further trek down to the Rainbow Falls which take about 60 to 90 minutes from the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Return back to hotel. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Mawlynnong & Dawki River
After breakfast check out hotel and drive to Mawlynnong (90 km/3 hrs). Reach Mawlynnong and visit Mawlynnong village (The cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong is a pleasant place where you can visit and unwind. The rains bring out the luscious greens of the trees and forests. The gorgeous green grasses do bring out the beauty of the village.), living root bridge.
Note: it is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mawlynnong. After lunch drive to Dawki (35 km/1 ½ hrs) and boating at Umngot river – the crystal clear water river. Later drive back to Shillong (90 km/3 hrs). Check in hotel at Dawki. Overnight at Dawki.
Krang Suri & Phe Phe Falls
After breakfast go to Jowai where visit Krang suri water fall, The walk down to Krangsuri is a pleasant descent – you begin on an open meadow and slowly climb down into more defined shrub and vegetation and Laitlum Canyons. After, a small trek to the beauty of the Phe Phe falls which is not to be missed in the Jantia Hills. Later drive back to Shillong. Check in hotel at Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.
Departure from Shillong
After breakfast Check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati airport / Railway Station for the onward journey.
